Overview:
Our internship program provides students and recent graduates with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fresh produce industry. This program is designed for individuals who want to pursue careers in agriculture, supply chain management or sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general operations at the market.
- Support roll out of sustainable initiatives.
- Support coordination of logistics relating to how products move from producers to consumers.
- Conduct research on customer preferences as well as market trends.
- Participate actively during team meetings providing suggestions on how best to improve processes.
- Undertake other assignments delegated by one’s superior.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agriculture, Business, Environmental Science or related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about sustainability as well as the fresh produce sector.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability work both collaboratively within teams as well as independently when required.
