As part of the program, you will gain exposure to various engineering disciplines based on your academic background. For the 2024/2025 intake, the following areas are available:
- Electrical Engineering: Exposure to switchgear testing (Primary, Secondary, Modular, and Commissioning), as well as electrical and mechanical design work related to switchgears.
- Mechanical Engineering: Hands-on experience in basic design, drafting, and understanding the electrical and mechanical functioning of electrical motors.
- Control and Instrumentation: Involvement in control systems, field instrumentation, actuators, and the design and commissioning of Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Industrial Engineering: Opportunities to work in factory operations, time studies, and process improvements.
- Computer Engineering: Engaging with ABB Ability, contributing to the development and promotion of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

To be considered for the Engineer in Training program, you must meet the following requirements:
- BSc, B-Tech, or BEng degree in one of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, along with a high degree of self-confidence and eagerness to learn.
