The Anova Health Institute is actively seeking participants for its Youth Employment Services (YES) Internship Opportunities for the years 2024 and 2025. This initiative is part of a broader effort to mitigate youth unemployment and foster a sustainable future. The program offers a one-year, work-based experiential learning opportunity designed to provide unemployed youth with practical and substantive work experiences. Successful applicants will be assigned to administrative roles at the discretion of Anova's management.

Responsibilities

They are expected to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, and provide exemplary customer service. Additionally, participants must exhibit strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail, while working collaboratively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a Grade 12 certificate as a minimum qualification.
  • Additional tertiary qualifications are advantageous.
  • Must be unemployed and aged between 18 and 34 years.
  • South African citizenship with a valid South African ID is required.
  • Applicants should not be registered for other experiential learning programmes during the YES programme.
  • Previous completion of a YES programme disqualifies an applicant.
  • Notably, individuals with disabilities must submit a medical certificate verifying the nature of their disability.
