The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency (CBRTA) invites applications for the Supply Chain Management Internship Program, a 24-month opportunity designed to provide recent graduates with practical experience in supply chain management within a public agency setting. Interns will be directly involved in supporting the agency's supply chain operations, gaining hands-on experience that aligns with their academic qualifications.
The internship program at CBRTA provides an immersive learning experience within the organization’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) department. Over the course of two years, interns will assist with a variety of essential functions, contributing to the agency’s procurement and administrative processes.
- Assisting in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and gathering necessary information.
- Providing administrative support to the Supply Chain Management Committees.
- Offering administrative assistance to the Senior Manager and Manager within SCM.
- Supporting the receiving of goods and the organization of goods-received vouchers and invoices.
- Compiling periodic activity reports for submission to supervisors.
- A minimum of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Interns will receive an all-inclusive remuneration package of R84,000 per annum, designed to support their professional development over the course of the program.
