The Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme represents a strategic partnership between business and government aimed at mitigating youth unemployment across both private and public sectors. The GIBB YES Programme specifically focuses on Mechanical Engineering. Participants will engage in a structured internship that promotes skill development and practical experience within the engineering sector.
Interns in the YES Programme will undertake the following responsibilities:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

- South African citizenship (must be born in South Africa).
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Unemployed and available for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Not a previous YES beneficiary.
- Proficient in computer literacy.
