The KZN College of Nursing invites applications for its nurse training program commencing in 2025. Qualifications

For Matriculation Pre-2008:

  • Grade 12 (Std 10) with a minimum of 25 points from the best six subjects.
  • English at "E" Higher Grade or "D" Standard Grade.
  • Biology/Physics/Chemistry/Physiology at "E" Higher Grade or "D" Standard Grade.
  • Mathematics at "E" Higher Grade or "D" Standard Grade.

For Matriculation From 2008:

  • National Senior Certificate: Diploma Pass or higher.
  • Home Language/First Additional Language at Level 3.
  • Minimum of 25 points.
  • English at Level 4, Mathematics at Level 3, or Maths Literacy at Level 5.
  • Life Science/Physical Science at Level 4.
  • Life Orientation at Level 4, but not scored, along with any other two subjects.
