The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) invites eligible individuals to apply for its Finance Internship Programme for the 2024/2025 period. Interns will report to the Finance Manager and will gain exposure to various financial processes, including:
- Processing invoices using accounting software.
- Executing electronic payments.
- Conducting creditor’s statement reconciliations.
- Processing journals and managing creditors control account reconciliations.
- Performing bank reconciliations and supporting financial internal controls.
- Engaging in general administrative tasks within a finance setting.
- Completing additional tasks as delegated by their supervisor.
Applicants must possess:
- A Grade 12/Matric certificate.
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6/7) in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of relevant education and training legislation.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
