The Oceana Group Internship Programme offers a 12-month opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in various departments within the organization. This internship program is designed for individuals who have recently completed their qualifications in fields relevant to the company’s operations. Interns will be immersed in the company's culture and operations, allowing them to gain firsthand insights into the fishing industry while making meaningful contributions to the organization.
Interns will be expected to:
- Assist in various tasks and projects within designated departments, including Commerce, IT/Information Systems, Human Resources, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Compliance, and Administration.
- Contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to support decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with team members on projects and initiatives, sharing ideas and contributing to discussions.
- Perform administrative tasks as required to facilitate smooth operations within the department.
- Engage in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the industry.
To be eligible for the Oceana Group Internship Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Residence in Cape Town or the West Coast region of Cape Town.
- Graduation in the years 2022, 2023, or 2024.
- A completed qualification in one of the following fields: Commerce, IT/Information Systems, Human Resources, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), Compliance, or Administration.
