Successful participants demonstrating high performance may be permanently retained in junior roles, following a structured development pathway.
The YEP Learnership spans 12 months and is available in Bellville (Cape Town) and Centurion, Gauteng. Participants will benefit from a monthly allowance, financial assistance for educational purposes, and the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Wealth Management, NQF level 4. The program involves both on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction, supplemented by continuous coaching and mentoring. Participants are required to compile a comprehensive portfolio of working and learning evidence throughout the program.
Participants are expected to gain comprehensive knowledge of Sanlam's products, services, and operational processes. The program includes classroom-based learning and practical onsite training. Learners must compile a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to InSeta, maintain logbooks for workplace-based learning, and successfully complete formative and summative assessments. Participants must also execute tasks and duties as assigned by their respective managers.
To qualify, applicants must be South African citizens, currently unemployed, and aged between 18 and 35 years. They must have completed Grade 12 with a minimum mark of 50% in English and either Mathematics, Mathematics Literacy, or Accounting. Proficiency in English is required. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to completing the 12-month program and maintain a clear criminal and credit record. Reliable transport access is also necessary.
