Spoor & Fisher is seeking South African graduates to join its 12-month YES (Youth Employment Service) Internship Programme for the 2024/2025 financial year. This programme is designed to provide participants with valuable workplace exposure, helping them develop the competencies and skills needed for professional growth. Successful candidates will be based at Spoor & Fisher's Centurion office and will have the opportunity to gain experience across various departments involved in the programme.
The YES Internship Programme at Spoor & Fisher is aimed at equipping young South African graduates with hands-on experience in a professional legal environment. Over the course of 12 months, interns will rotate across various departments, including Trade Marks, Patents, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing. This rotation will offer interns exposure to different facets of the business, allowing them to develop a wide range of skills and build a robust foundation for future employment.
The programme commences on **01 February 2025**, and candidates will be selected based on merit, with preference given to those who meet the firm’s Employment Equity (EE) policy.
During the internship, participants will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in departmental tasks and projects.
- Learning new skills and techniques relevant to the legal and business sectors.
- Maintaining accountability and responsibility in their assigned duties.
- Demonstrating a keen attention to detail in their work.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Participating in training and development opportunities offered by Spoor & Fisher.
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric Certificate.
- South African citizenship.
- Age between 18 and 34 years old.
- Must not be studying full-time during the internship year.
- Must not have previously participated in any YES programme or similar initiative.
Additionally, applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management.
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting Sciences, Law, Business Administration, or Data Analytics.
- LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
- Any equivalent diploma or degree in the relevant fields.
