The Department of Science and Innovation-National Youth Service (DSTI-NYS) programme is part of South Africa’s broader National Youth Service initiative. It is managed by the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) under the National Research Foundation. This program provides unemployed youth under 35, especially graduates, with a 12-month opportunity to gain practical experience, foster community service values, and improve their employment prospects.
Available Positions
Below are the positions available under the DSTI-NYS Programme:
1. Science and Technology Graduate
Requirements:
- A degree/diploma in Science or Technology fields.
- Strong computer skills.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
