Overview:
The Hilton Internship is designed to give college students, as well as Masters candidates, a broad understanding of different aspects of the hospitality industry. Interns will rotate through various departments during this program, thereby gaining insights into operations, guest services, marketing and management.
Responsibilities:
As a Hilton Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Helping out in daily hotel activities across different divisions like receptionist desk, housekeeping or food & beverage department.
- Assisting guest services to ensure all guests have seamless experience and enjoy their moment while at our premises.
- Being part of some marketing efforts such as social media control and event planning.
- Working with other staff on special projects that aim at improving our performance levels or customer satisfaction ratings.
- Supporting decision-making process among management using research methods and analysis.
- Attending training sessions and workshops aimed at adding knowledge about hospitality industry.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Current enrollment in undergraduate/graduate program in Hospitality Management/Business Administration/related field
- Good communication perception and ability to work well with people
- Must have high organizational capabilities/multitasking abilities
- You must be proactive by nature & willing to learn new things always!
- A team member yet self driven person capable of working alone without supervision too!
- Good computer skills especially MS office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- At present studying in any certified higher learning institution;
- Availability for full-time/part-time internship lasting at least three months;
- Ability to work shifts including holidays/weekends;
- Experience is customer service/hospitality industry is an added advantage but not a must.
