As a Data Analyst Trainee in the Coronation Catapult Programme, participants will gain hands-on experience in data mining, extraction, and reconciliation from various sources. The role involves analyzing and collating large datasets to uncover trends and solutions, validating data integrity, and generating insightful reports for stakeholders. - Develop and apply database design principles and SQL skills for querying and managing databases.
- Perform data mining, extraction, and reconciliation from multiple data sources.
- Analyze and process large datasets to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy for analysis purposes.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the internal technology catalog and process register.
- Support business analysis efforts and document processes as instructed.
- Generate data-driven reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including the Executive Committee.

- A relevant tertiary qualification (BCom, BSc, BBusSci, Hons) in a quantitative finance-related field such as Investments, Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in VBA, SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- A strong understanding of databases and data management systems.
