The YES Internship Program at @Home, part of The Foschini Group (TFG), is an exceptional opportunity for young South Africans eager to enter the job market. The YES Internship Program aims to provide early-career professionals with practical experience in a dynamic retail setting. Through this internship, TFG offers successful applicants the chance to build industry knowledge and learn customer engagement skills in a supportive environment. TFG, a renowned retail portfolio of 34 lifestyle and apparel brands, prioritizes creating memorable omnichannel experiences. Interns will play an integral role in delivering a quality customer experience within our retail outlets. Specific duties include assisting in daily store operations, providing excellent customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the smooth flow of in-store activities. Interns will also have opportunities to engage with seasoned professionals across various TFG brands, expanding their understanding of retail business functions.
To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizens aged between 18 and 28.
- Educational qualifications of at least Grade 10, with a preference for candidates holding a Matric certificate.
- No prior continuous employment exceeding one year with a single employer.
- Self-provided accommodation and transportation, if necessary.
- Preference for applicants from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.
- Not enrolled in full-time studies during the internship period (April 2024 – March 2025).
- Not previously registered for or participated in the YES Programme.
- Availability and commitment to a fixed 12-month contract.
