This program is designed for students in their final year of CTA/PGDA studies and aims to provide comprehensive support for career development. The CA Training Programme (OMCAT) at Old Mutual offers participants broad exposure to various aspects of finance as prescribed by SAICA, ensuring that trainees acquire both the technical and professional skills required for a successful career. In addition to the technical training, the program includes leadership development courses offered by Old Mutual, SAICA, and external service providers, preparing participants to become effective business leaders in the financial sector.
As a trainee in Old Mutual’s CA Training Programme, you will be expected to:
- Develop technical competencies in alignment with SAICA’s CA of the Future framework.
- Participate in leadership development courses to build the skills needed for effective business leadership.

- Meet the requirements of a three-year training contract under SAICA’s regulations.
To be eligible for the programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proof of registration or successful completion of CTA/PGDA.
- South African citizenship.
