Available internship positions:
1. Finance Internship
Description:
The Finance Internship is geared towards a student’s development of how to work with debtor books and other finance related operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for debtor records, Medical Aid account, Private/Foreign account and exception accounts follow up.
- Send journals for review and handle approved journals on time.
- Speak to patients about old accounts to settle.
- General Administration & Management of Unpaid Debt according to Standard Operating Procedure.
- Check out the private patient age report.
- Control list of rejections and baby registration on medical insurance.
- Deal with Credit Control questions (walk-ins and phone).
- Help with patients under construction and private/inner patient accounts (e.g., Private Patients, International Private Patients).
- Contribute to the collection of co-payments as applicable.
Requirements:
- Graduation in Finance from a recognized university.
- You don’t need work experience (internship position).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Complete command over normal finance protocols.
Qualifications:
- A completed Finance-related qualification (Diploma/Degree).

2. Procurement Internship
Description:
The Procurement Internship helps graduates to get a handle on procurement and supplier management in an organization.
Responsibilities:
- Help in the supplier registration, accreditation and adoption.
- Coordinate catalogs with suppliers, e-Procurement systems, Product/Commodity Managers.
- Recruit prospective catalogue suppliers from the existing approved supplier list and Product Specialists.
- Allow for cataloguing of approved items found by Product Specialists/Commodity Managers.
- Track price and product changes (and whether they are valid) with relevant parties.
- Take part in enquiry procedures, such as RFQ (Request for Quote), RFP (Request for Proposal), RFT (Request for Tender) and RFI (Request for Information).
- Prepare official Letters of Intent, Grant and Rejection.
- Help write SLAs and track contracts.
- Comparison of quotations and Supplier negotiation.
- Create and manage supplier partnerships such as performance reviews and contract price negotiations.
- Maintain current supplier documentation.
- Handle supplier registration in electronic supplier portals.
Requirements:
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Procurement.
- No prior work experience needed.
Qualifications:
- A Degree/Diploma equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement (NQF 6/7).
